As progress marches on, there exist transitional moments when landscapes change from the natural to the manmade, where the mounds of shaped earth, 2x4 framing, and construction debris eerily stand against a backdrop of the once unadulterated world.

While Field Closed for Maintenance depicts a single community — my hometown of Camarillo — in change over time, Infinite Homes broadens its scope to encompass regions throughout the western United States in during the phases of their transformation.
